No worry, what you said is by and large correct although you still have not made a visit to listen to my German Tank. Going forward, would you recommend me to go for Tron211 pairing with Tidal and Syren? Alternatively, I can get the Wavac 805...Any advice? Dso recommends me to pair Wavac preamp with their power amp which I believe would be another very strong contestant. Can you share with me the difference between SET and PushPull in driving Horn speaker?
I don't really know how to answer your question. Unlike you, I am very focus. I don't really need a system that plays all audiophile recordings well. For my favorite opera music, the tron serves me extremely well. If you are not a big fan of opera, you don't have to follow what I do or for the sake of completing the suite. That's really not my style but I know audiophile have other much higher non-music priorities than music preferences.
Knowing marvel bro for 2 years in this community, you may need an amplifier capable of delivering finesse and power. Though the wavac favor is too much for me, the 805 amp is nonetheless a very good job done by the Japanese master. The mark2 version of the amp ranks almost equivalent to the 833 in terms of price. Between the two amp for the Cessaro, my choice is easy and clear - the 805v2. The logic is quick and dirty. I do believe tube needs the cleanest power supply to be fed on. You don't need the power of 833 to drive a horn.
The german tank, I appreciate but thanks as I can't stand those noises and the attentuated agility/tension across the frequency band. Without silence, music is dead.
Regarding your question about single-ended versus push-pull, I just did that, going from singled-ended 211 to 300B Push-Pull. One thing I can say is that push-pull has much better control in the bass department, and is in general more linear, i.e. the magic is across the spectrum, not just the mid. When I replaced the amp, the net power is the same (both 20-odd watts), but the bass coming from the gakuoh, however, can shake the floor. The mid-range magic is still there, though not as "pure" as single ended 300B, but I suspect that the singled ended magic comes at the expense of the (slightly) attenuated high and low, no matter what. However, when push-pull is done right, the over-all package is at a higher level altogether.
And Voy's point about silence is very true. Electronic haze kills the music, which mandates your amps to have seriously good power-supply section.
I haven't heard your cessaro yet, but from my limited experiences with TAD units (mostly 1601a and 1601b), and your comprehensive performance requirements, my guess is that push-pull is the way to go, but there aren't that many to choose from at this level, especially with the challenges to power supply posed by horns.....power, finesse, silence, it's going to be a challenge. But when it's done, I think even our Marvel Bro will be impressed.
I still believe PRT1 plus 805v2 is an excellent choice to your Cessaro, once you replace all the tubes by NOS ones they can deliver a very balance sound with lots of harmonics.
Why not consider DV amp? U heard hows the half circuit handel d Tango!(what you heard last time is only by 3 tube in unbalance sound, the piano now will give you a shock! The DV amp is the best amp so far i ve heard.) Also, could be upgrade step by step to the ultimate.....
Happy new year!
Thanks Voy, Jeff for the views on Tron211 and 805Mk2. I have had another few more days with EC300B and I know its strength and weakness much better. I think 805 or 805Mk2 is probably answer for the Horn.
Stereo Sound's excellent comments on Cessaro Horn. The interesting part is the engineer of the TAD drivers who went to audition the Cessaro comment that they do not recognize the sound of TAD from the Cessaro horn.

Sorry to butt in here....
